About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our comprehensive research solutions to academic institutions, corporate libraries, and medical libraries in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and renewal quotas
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, Director of ACM Sales, and Account Executive to provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials
  • Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process
  • Travel 70% of the time to meet with customers and prospects, attend conferences, and sales meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with EBSCO products and competition, providing input for product development and marketing purposes
  • Develop sales strategies for the region and report weekly progress to the VP of Sales
Requirements
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the academic field, with experience in SaaS and information service sales a plus
  • Proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant learning and adapting
  • Technical selling experience to sell SaaS products
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Territory management experience, including cold calling
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and video conferencing technology

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $109,200.00 - $156,000.00 per year, plus a typical sales commission.
