Job Summary

Advanced Radiology Services is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Register Patients: Welcome patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
  • Obtain and Verify Patient Information: Collect and verify patient information, including insurance and demographic data, to ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Collect and Log Co-Pays and Fees: Collect and log all co-pays and fees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer and Transfer Calls: Answer and transfer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Appointments: Schedule, reschedule, or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Provide Patient Orientation: Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
  • Coordinate with Back-Office Staff: Coordinate with back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
  • Safeguard Patient Property and Information: Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and patient health information.
  • Respect Company Property and Patient Boundaries: Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information, and patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills: Demonstrate intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in medical terminology and office software.
  • Strong Multitasking and Communication Skills: Possess strong multitasking and communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in all situations.
  • Experience in Customer Service: Have experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare or medical office setting.
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge: Possess knowledge of medical terminology and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Advanced Radiology Services offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a team-focused approach to delivering quality patient care. As a Patient Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, with a commitment to providing world-class customer service.

Pay Range: $26.00 per hour

Shift: Mornings

Shift Variations: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with Saturday rotation
