As a Patient Care Liaison for Revenue Cycle Operations, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their financial responsibilities prior to their scheduled procedures. Our mission is to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality of care while navigating their billing inquiries with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly examine patient accounts using various systems to identify any outstanding balances due before procedures.
  • Engage with patients through proactive outreach to inform them of their financial obligations.
  • Facilitate the collection of outstanding balances and educate patients on available payment options, including CareCredit.
  • Assist patients in applying for CareCredit, managing payments, and increasing their credit limits as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and updates in our systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve balance discrepancies efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service expertise, with the ability to manage calls effectively and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Competence in utilizing relevant software systems to research and address inquiries.
  • Resourcefulness in navigating complex billing scenarios and effectively communicating resolution options to patients.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing terminology and practices, including EOBs, insurance adjudication, and patient financial responsibilities.
