We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.

POSITION TITLE: Senior Quality Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance PREFERRED – must be obtainable within a reasonable timeframe based on requirements

LOCATION: Onsite position

COMPENSATION: $35/hr - $41/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance standards and methodologies for transforming raw materials into finished goods. This role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains quality assurance protocols for processing materials into finished products.
  • Creates methods and procedures for evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes and finished goods.
  • Analyzes production data to identify trends and suggest updates to quality standards as necessary.
  • Reviews documentation for compliance with requirements.
  • Resolves moderate scope problems effectively.
  • Compares defects against established standards and recommends corrective actions.
  • Collects and analyzes project data, generating metrics as needed.
  • Conducts audits, assigns corrective actions, and verifies implementation.
  • Participates in project reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Ensures compliance with defined quality requirements.
  • Monitors test activities and provides oversight.
  • Collaborates with various engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Functions as an individual contributor on multiple projects.
  • Actively engages as a member of the project team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering methodologies and standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, and other quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong skills in quality reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of inspection and measurement tools.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe. Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed.
