Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our Quality Control Lab, you will be responsible for performing in-process, final, and retain sample testing for plastic additives. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will ensure the accuracy and reliability of our testing results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing and Analysis: Perform in-process, final, and retain sample testing for plastic additives, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain analytical equipment, including HPLC, GC, Auto Titrators, and analyzers.
  • Data Entry: Conduct data entry into LIMS and SAP systems.
  • Material Evaluation: Approve incoming raw materials based on COA results and necessary tests.
  • Batch Preparation: Prepare batch tickets for conventional and Low Free urethane products.
  • Lab Maintenance: Maintain a clean laboratory environment, including stocking chemicals, disposing of waste, washing glassware, and shipping samples.
Requirements
  • Chemistry Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemistry principles and analytical techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating analytical equipment, including HPLC, GC, and Auto Titrators.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
