Director of Residential Services for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Rising Ground, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Residential Services for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to oversee our community homes and provide support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development:
- Develop and implement policies and practices that reflect the mission and philosophy of Rising Ground, Inc and funding sources.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective service delivery.
- Monitor and report on human rights issues and behavior management.
- Delivery of Habilitative Services:
- Develop and implement treatment models and techniques for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Provide resources and support to staff to meet service delivery criteria.
- Monitor adherence to regulations and standards.
- Planning and Administration:
- Develop and implement outcome monitoring systems for staff action plans.
- Ensure adherence to standards for OPWDD funded programs.
- Manage budgets and represent the organization in meetings and with external stakeholders.
- Management and Supervision:
- Supervise staff and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Conduct regular visits to residential settings and complete checklists.
- Review and address evaluation and disciplinary actions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in a related field, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
