Director of Customer Service Sales
Your role and responsibilities
In this position, you will have the chance to lead service sales initiatives, identify service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within your assigned regions. Each day, your focus will be on Installed Base (IB) engagement and promoting the complete Service product portfolio. You will demonstrate your expertise by fostering long-term customer relationships and ensuring prompt responses to specific customer needs and concerns. The work model for this role is: Hybrid. The ideal candidate will reside in the relevant states and participate in regular meetings at the corporate headquarters. This role contributes to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Service & Digital Platform division. Key stakeholders include our customers. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Engaging with Installed Base, promoting various value-added solutions for the benefit of both customers and ABB.
• Understanding the channel strategy, establishing related pricing, preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plans when necessary.
• Generating service sales leads and exploring new market opportunities by leveraging market trend insights and identifying potential new service offerings.
• Acting as a promoter of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).

Qualifications for the role
- 2+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or robotics preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 2 years of related experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 0-3 years of experience.
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, or a technical field preferred.
- Candidates must already possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB.
