About the Job

As a Senior Account Manager - Compressor Solutions at Burckhardt Compression US, you will be responsible for managing and developing assigned customer relationships and accounts. You will discuss upcoming projects and equipment requirements with customers, generate leads, and identify opportunities.

You will also screen customer terms and conditions, negotiate favorable agreements and contracts, and document and follow global sales procedures to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and codes.

Your goal will be to secure new orders in line with forecast expectations, utilizing CRM to provide up-to-date information on order timing, competition, visit reports, and project feedback.

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate new equipment market, evaluate new potential customers, increase brand and product awareness, and create market awareness in the Hydrogen Fueling Space
  • Manage & develop assigned customer relationships and accounts
  • Generate leads and identify opportunities
  • Screen customer terms and conditions and negotiate favorable agreements and contracts with customers
  • Document and follow global sales procedures and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and codes to verify compliance of customer purchase orders
  • Secure new orders in line with forecast expectations
  • Utilizing CRM, provide up to date information on order timing, competition, visit reports and project feedback
  • Ensure documents, proposals and commercial files, data banks and electronic files are properly organized, adequately stored and up to date
  • Compile project relevant documentation lists for all new projects, ensure documents and specifications are in order and up to date, and are all made available to project management and engineering
  • Plan and control sales and marketing activities; arrange for exchange rate protection and ensure complete and on time reporting
  • Continuously gather information concerning market conditions, requirements and customer needs
  • Inform the supervisor and/or management of any deficiency or non-compliance with company policy or procedure within or outside the area of responsibility
