As the 2nd Assistant Retail Operations Manager, you will work closely with our Store Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our flagship location.

Your role will involve supporting the execution of operational strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive sales performance.


In addition, you will collaborate with our executive leadership to achieve the financial objectives of our prominent store.


Successful candidates will provide essential support and set a strong example to maintain exceptional standards in customer service.

They understand that their commitment and enthusiasm are vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of a high-traffic retail environment, focusing on maximizing sales.
  • Support the training and development of new Sales Associates.
  • Contribute to process enhancements, link inventory management with store operations, monitor inventory performance, assist with restocking, and oversee overall inventory control.
  • Handle customer service challenges, including returns and product issues.
  • Ensure that merchandise is well-stocked and displayed to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selections, maintaining organized fitting rooms, processing transactions efficiently, and completing end-of-day financial reconciliations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of store products by familiarizing yourself with inventory.
  • Communicate customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to the team promptly.
  • Exhibit a professional and friendly demeanor that fosters teamwork, especially during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Assistant Manager role within a high-volume fashion retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with proven experience in coaching staff to enhance customer retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small to medium-sized sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and protocols.
  • An engaging and outgoing personality, capable of initiating customer interactions and identifying their shopping needs.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on various responsibilities and go the extra mile.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with both colleagues and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.


This position requires availability to work 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
