Job Title: Fleet Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide electrical, mechanical, and automation support for our deployed fleet of assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Support: Provide skilled electrical and mechanical support to our services operations, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment associated with water treatment systems.
  • Instrumentation and Controls: Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and controls associated with Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration, and Deionization (DI) systems, as well as other water treatment technologies.
  • Automation Support: Provide support for our remote monitoring equipment and devices, including the InSight asset performance monitoring system.
  • Documentation and Training: Work closely with our engineering group to produce accurate and complete documentation and drawings, and assist in developing operations and training manuals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our service technicians to provide training and support on automation and instrumentation within Veolia equipment and systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a relevant field, including electrical, mechanical, and automation support.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of PLC and HMI/SCADA programming and troubleshooting, as well as experience with water treatment equipment.

  • Strong Electrical Background: A thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic components in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent Mechanical Ability: A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
