Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Library Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical data management information system training to customers, maintaining access to all data and web-based repositories, and providing technical information services to agencies and fleet units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Data Management: Provide training to customers on the use of technical data management information systems.
  • Document Management: Maintain access to all data and web-based repositories, and ensure that documents are properly cataloged, barcoded, marked, labeled, and filed.
  • Technical Information Services: Provide technical information services to agencies, shore commands, and fleet units in support of fleet readiness.
  • Administrative Support: Update TDMIS administrative files to maintain an accurate and effective system of operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and 3 years of experience, or vocational/technical training beyond high school and 1 year experience, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate application software, including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Specialized Experience: A minimum of 1 year of practical word processing experience within the last 5 years, which includes knowledge of varied and advanced functions of different types of software.
  • Clearance: Must have an active secret US government clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience providing library support to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center.
