**Job Description:**

The Cultural Resource Manager will be responsible for conducting cultural resource investigations, field surveys, and data analysis, as well as preparing technical reports and coordinating project mobilization and demobilization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conducting background research and planning for field surveys, archaeological excavations, and data recovery projects;
  • Analyzing and interpreting archaeological data, preparing technical reports, and coordinating project mobilization and demobilization;
  • Supporting NHPA Section 106 and Antiquities Code of Texas analysis, technical studies, and project permitting for private, federal, state, and local government clients;
  • Communicating results and recommendations to staff and project managers, and assisting in proposal development, including scope, schedule, and budget.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field;
  • Prior completion of an archaeological field school;
  • Prior archaeological survey experience in Texas or the Southwestern U.S. required;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience, with progressively responsible cultural resource positions;
  • Proficient in GPS data collection and archaeological survey methodologies;
  • Excellent professional and scientific writing skills, and ability to meet deadlines while remaining detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well on simultaneous tasks.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
