Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution and entry of parts quotations, including price assessments, delivery schedules, and work scope planning.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to schedule work and ensure that material sourcing aligns with customer delivery commitments.
- Facilitate technical inquiries between customers, Emerson engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain communication with the sales channel and service center teams to ensure consistent fulfillment of expectations and commitments.
- Source, procure, and expedite necessary parts and materials, while forecasting requirements for peak demand periods.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery timelines, while exploring alternative sources when necessary.
- Monitor the progress of service projects and negotiate delivery timelines prior to order entry, keeping sales channels and customers informed of any delays.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and company regulations, actively participating in Safety and Quality Committees.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of team members while maintaining high standards of workplace cleanliness.
The ideal candidate is someone who effectively communicates across various settings, builds solutions that meet customer needs, and remains productive while aligned with their objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong abilities in customer service, time management, problem-solving, organization, interpersonal relations, and multitasking.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in process controls, technical, industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (such as Oracle).
