Position Overview: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring that all programs and personnel are effectively managed. This leadership position is essential in guiding the Board of Directors in setting priorities and objectives aimed at addressing the root causes and conditions of poverty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish organizational priorities and develop programs that meet identified community needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives to ensure alignment with the agency's mission.
- Act as the primary staff liaison for the Board of Directors, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Serve as the chief representative of the organization within the local community and with funding sources.
- Ensure compliance with all grant and contract stipulations, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Lead comprehensive administration, including fiscal oversight and personnel management.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of senior-level management experience, demonstrating a strong background in leadership and organizational development.
Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree is preferred.
