Position Overview:
We are seeking a Regional Medical Executive to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. This role will be pivotal in providing strategic leadership and collaborating closely with the Chief Medical Officer and the Executive Director of Clinical Operations. The primary focus will be to uphold the highest standards of medical care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to policies and standards of medical excellence.
- Act as a representative for external partnerships, fostering regional consistency and effective communication with healthcare providers and clinical staff.
- Maintain an active clinical role, delivering care to urgent care patients.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, salaried position that is exempt from overtime. Occasional travel to partner hospitals and regional urgent care facilities will be necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Expertise in operations analysis.
- Proficient in managing personnel resources.
- Experience in performance management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be a licensed medical provider (MD, DO) with experience in emergency or urgent care settings.
- Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience is essential.
- Prior experience in a medical director role is preferred.
Compensation Structure:
- Competitive base salary.
- Additional stipend.
- Participation in a provider incentive plan.
Leadership Responsibilities:
The Regional Medical Executive will oversee the lead providers in the designated area, as well as mid-level providers, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, who report to the lead providers.
