The Patient Service Representative - Float supports the front desk operations at Northwestern Medicine, providing exceptional customer service to patients and guests. This role is responsible for communicating with patients, processing payments, and performing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients and guests to provide information and resolve issues
- Process payments, post payments, and perform end-of-day cash drawer closing
- Collect co-payments, past due balances, and point-of-service payments
- Complete patient registration as needed and inform patients of delays or changes in appointment status
