Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Infirmary Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Therapy Program Implementation: Implement and manage therapy programs to ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train staff therapists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
  • Licensure/Certification: State of Alabama license required, American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Desired Qualifications: M.S. degree from an accredited therapy program, considerable knowledge of staff therapist functions, State of Alabama license with clinical specialty.
