About the Role

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Emergency Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless continuity of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening, and be able to handle high call volumes professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate areas within the hospital.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient and effective communication.

This role requires:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience in a customer service, retail, or fast-paced business environment.
