Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Care Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team in the Emergency Department. This dynamic role requires a high level of care and support for patients of all age groups, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in healthcare, mental health, security, or public service, with a strong focus on patient care and de-escalation techniques. A Bachelor's Degree in psychology or human services field is preferred, along with BLS Certification through the American Heart Association and completion of an endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification within 3 months of hire.

As a Psychiatric Care Specialist at Rutland Regional Medical Center, you will engage in general department functions to support the overall operations of the Emergency Department, while maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to utilize multiple internal and external communication modalities. You will also be required to identify and report patient care observations, deviations from patient's plan of care, and other pertinent information, remaining calm and thinking effectively in high-stress situations.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $17.29 - $25.66 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
