We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Preparedness Manager to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring our readiness and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
About the Role
- This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop and implement emergency preparedness plans, conduct training exercises, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Experience in HAZMAT decontamination, emergency response team management, and hospital emergency preparedness is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency preparedness plans.
- Conduct regular training exercises and drills to test emergency response capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as state and federal agency guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Disaster/Emergency Management, Public Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in large organization emergency preparedness, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Certification in disaster, hazardous materials decontamination, or ICS/HICS training is highly desired.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 per year
