Position Summary

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) is actively looking for a Technical Support Analyst to enhance our team.

This is a full-time role that contributes to our mission of supporting the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) objectives. As a Technical Support Analyst within the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of NAVWAR initiatives by providing expert guidance and support to combatant commanders and joint force leaders. Your expertise will be vital in integrating C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC's strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance for end-user devices including laptops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices, along with associated software and network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate customer support for software installations and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Set up and configure new user equipment such as laptops, mobile devices, and VoIP phones.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues affecting end-users and site infrastructure.
  • Participate in project planning, providing essential IT specifications for facility requirements.
  • Oversee on-site coordination of hardware maintenance and support, including after-hours assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure inventory, ensuring regular updates and accuracy of asset information.
  • Propose enhancements to customer service and IT processes by researching new technologies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an Information Assurance Level Technician in a large government consulting environment.
  • Possession of IAT Level II Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, or EC-Council CND.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
