The role of the Electrical Engineering Data Analyst is a vital position within the Standards & Training Program of the Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST) at MELE Associates.

This position is designed to enhance the operational efficiency of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess the accuracy of transmitted field diagnostics data.

Engage with field responders to enhance data quality as necessary. Collaborate with the Joint Technical Operations Team (JTOT) and the NSTP Standards division to uphold data accuracy standards.

Work closely with the NSTP Curriculum Development and Training teams to ensure that training activities and exercises are effectively coordinated with the THT. Perform additional duties as assigned. Travel may be required up to 20%.



Employment Conditions:
Access to DOE sites and interactions with JTOT necessitate that the selected candidate be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a DOE Q security clearance.

The candidate may need to provide written consent for a background check to secure a security clearance as a condition of employment.

Routine reviews and tests for illegal substances may be conducted to maintain access to DOE sites; the candidate may need to provide written consent for such tests as a condition of employment.

The candidate should be able to sit for extended periods and work in an office environment, which includes extensive computer use, under sometimes demanding conditions.

Availability for after-hours work during exercises may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Adaptability to a rapidly changing work environment.

The candidate must be an independent self-starter with strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking, and comfortable collaborating with a team of technical experts across various security and emergency operations fields.

Attention to detail is essential.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
The ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of an active Q Clearance. Experience in spectral analysis and nuclear diagnostics. Familiarity with CWMD/Rad/Nuc processes and procedures.

LOCATION:
This is a full-time onsite position.

COMPENSATION:

Salary is determined based on various factors, including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
