Refrigeration Quality Assurance Technician

The Refrigeration Quality Assurance Technician is essential for sustaining production efficiency at JTS by supporting the assembly and assessment of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This role demands a thorough understanding of the production process and the ability to consistently evaluate product quality.
- Execute product testing for complaint investigations and stability assessments.
- Conduct spot-check inspections and audits of manufacturing operations.
- Prepare and disseminate comprehensive reports on product testing outcomes.
- Analyze project specifications, assembly sequences, and methods/materials according to blueprints and guidelines.
- Engage in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide root cause analysis based on field feedback and recommend design enhancements.
- Operate heavy machinery, forklifts, and overhead cranes, along with various tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration (preferred).
- Understanding of refrigeration system flow and functionality.
- Refrigeration handling certification (preferred) or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- Brazing experience (preferred).
- Experience in HVAC & R field service is beneficial.
- Proficient in following procedures precisely and accurately documenting results.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment, requiring frequent bending, kneeling, or crouching.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
