The Idaho Division of Human Resources is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Inspector 2. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of agricultural products through rigorous inspection and grading processes.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Inspector 2, your duties will include:
- Inspection and Grading: Evaluate agricultural commodities based on established Federal and State standards. Utilize various tools to assess the quality and condition of products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary forms and certificates to certify the grade and quality of inspected products. Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.
- Public Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, explaining inspection results and providing guidance on compliance with agricultural standards.
- Auditing: Conduct thorough audits of facilities and practices to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in diverse conditions, including exposure to varying temperatures and environments. Candidates should be prepared for physical demands, including lifting and moving heavy items.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Physical capability to perform inspection duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
