JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products and services. This position involves identifying areas for enhancement and assisting in the implementation of innovative methods. The technician will conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to ensure compliance with the Johnson Thermal Systems Quality Management System.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Promptly identify and communicate any quality or compliance-related issues to the Quality Manager.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive job inspection reports, ensuring consistent usage.
  • Analyze data and results from various inspections and tests.
  • Clearly explain complex technical information to representatives from different departments.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives at all levels.
  • Maintain calibration records for quality control equipment.
  • Follow all company standards and specifications diligently.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete daily tasks.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
  • Assist in product inspections to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of inspection and/or production experience is desired OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required).
  • Experience in documenting, recording, reporting, and gathering evidence related to quality control functions.
  • Familiarity with interpreting and implementing ISO standards and document control processes.
  • Proficient in using computers, including all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates respect for others and is a proven team player.
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects.
  • Experience working in both indoor and outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating efforts with others.
  • Showcase collaboration skills across all levels and departments.
  • Capability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting information.
