JOB SUMMARY: The Refrigeration Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining production schedules by assisting in the assembly and evaluation of the quality of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all production phases and the ability to assess product quality consistently. The Specialist will focus on delivering a high-quality product to our clients, work efficiently, document all processes, and uphold a safe working environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform product testing, including support for complaint investigations and stability assessments.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of production processes.
  • Generate and distribute product testing reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Define project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and necessary methods and materials based on blueprints and instructions.
  • Engage in the internal audit program and complete corrective action documentation.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support document control and record retention as needed.
  • Provide root cause analysis based on field feedback.
  • Suggest design modifications and product enhancements based on field insights.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial or industrial refrigeration sector (preferred)
  • Understanding of refrigeration system operations and flow.
  • Refrigeration handling certification (preferred) or the ability to obtain one within six months.
  • Experience with brazing (preferred)
  • Capability to work from 10' ladders.
  • HVAC & R field service experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

  • Professional demeanor with reliability, productivity, and meticulousness.
  • Ability to adhere to procedures and accurately document outcomes.
  • Capacity to work in a demanding manufacturing environment requiring physical agility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver products weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Must pass background and drug screenings.
