Express Employment Professionals is on the lookout for a talented and committed Concrete Quality Assurance Specialist to become part of our dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all products adhere to the standards set by local industry regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications as directed by the Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise all concrete assessments on specified designs and ensure accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintain comprehensive records of all necessary quality control documentation
- Examine raw materials and fresh concrete during batching and post-testing to verify that concrete characteristics align with the finished product specifications and the expectations of the Plant Manager
- Utilize and maintain all quality control equipment in accordance with the guidelines provided by the QC Manager
- Conduct random inspections and document the fabrication of wire cages
- Inspect outgoing loads from the plant to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards
- Facilitate monthly quality control training sessions and keep personnel training records updated
- Collaborate closely with various managers, team leads, and crews
- Execute special projects or assignments as assigned
- Preferred: Two-year technical degree
- Knowledge of operation and adjustment of all batching and concrete production processes
- Ability to interpret production drawings and engineered blueprints
- Effective verbal and written communication skills that are clear to both crew members and plant supervision
- Proven capability to identify mechanical issues and perform adjustments or basic repairs to equipment to ensure concrete meets specifications
- Mathematical skills to accurately calculate mixing ratios and quality requirements for product completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- ACI Certification or ability to obtain within one year
- PCI Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within one year

Monday - Friday

Compensation:
$ $25.00/hr + DOE
