Quality Control Inspector

Position: Inspector/Packer
Location: Ashland, OH
Compensation: $19.50/hr
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
We are looking for meticulous and dependable inspector packers to join a prominent manufacturer of liquid pouches. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products prior to distribution. Your main duties will involve inspecting and packaging liquid pouches in accordance with set standards and procedures while ensuring productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of liquid pouches to confirm compliance with quality specifications, identifying any defects, leaks, or irregularities.
- Ensure the accuracy of product labels, codes, and packaging details.
- Efficiently pack liquid pouches into designated containers or cartons, adhering to specific packing guidelines.
- Accurately seal and label packaged products.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, following safety protocols, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and 5S standards.
- Report any product flaws or packaging issues to the supervisor or quality assurance team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Preference for candidates with a history of longevity in previous positions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Basic knowledge of packaging processes and equipment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and GMPs.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime as necessary.
