This position plays a pivotal role in the company's strategic planning and decision-making framework. The FP&A Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis operations, delivering essential financial insights that enhance business performance and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to collect, validate, and interpret financial information.
  • Engage cross-functionally to develop a comprehensive understanding of operational drivers, integrating these elements into detailed financial forecasts and analyses.
  • Generate and sustain precise cash flow projections, ensuring the organization maintains adequate liquidity to fulfill its operational and strategic goals.
  • Perform thorough variance analysis to pinpoint discrepancies between actual and projected financial outcomes, suggesting corrective measures as needed.
  • Compile and present in-depth financial reports and analyses to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making and evaluate the financial implications of prospective business initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements within financial planning and analysis, adopting best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Guide and mentor junior FP&A personnel, nurturing a culture of continuous development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial systems and tools align with the organization's evolving requirements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and economic conditions, offering insights and recommendations to senior management regarding potential business impacts.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial objectives and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is essential; an MBA or CFA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Recent experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, or Wholesale is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with financial planning software, such as NetSuite and Power BI, is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
