POSITION SUMMARY
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the finance department by executing precise accounting procedures while ensuring exceptional customer service and confidentiality. This position demands a high level of consistency and attention to detail, along with the ability to address issues and engage with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.
Core Duties Include:
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Invoicing and follow-up communications
- Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, customers, and team members
- Processing credit card applications
- Daily payment postings
- Reconciling discrepancies in accounts related to vendors and customers
- Maintaining essential accounting records within stipulated timelines
- Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple responsibilities
- Conducting credit reviews for new clients, establishing terms, and collecting overdue accounts
- Assisting in tracking and completing monthly Pay Applications
- Ensuring invoices are uploaded to required payment platforms for specific clients
- Supporting month-end balancing of certain General Ledger accounts
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure proper completion of various job functions
- Invoicing all drop shipments, both domestic and international
- Monitoring work-related reports monthly to guarantee accuracy and task completion
Qualifications and Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Epicor/P21 Cloud-based systems is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Capability to lift weights ranging from 15 to 25 pounds occasionally
