Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to collect, validate, and analyze financial data.
  • Engage cross-functionally to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational drivers, integrating these insights into detailed financial forecasts and analyses.
  • Establish and maintain precise cash flow projections, ensuring the organization has adequate liquidity to fulfill its operational requirements and strategic goals.
  • Perform in-depth variance analysis to pinpoint discrepancies between actual and projected financial outcomes, recommending corrective measures as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports and analyses to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and evaluate the financial implications of potential business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing processes within financial planning and analysis, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Guide and mentor junior FP&A personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial systems and tools align with the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and economic conditions, providing insights and recommendations to senior management regarding potential impacts on the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial objectives and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required; MBA or CFA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Recent experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, or Wholesale is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial planning software, such as NetSuite and Power BI, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
