This position plays a vital role in the company's strategic planning and decision-making processes. The FP&A Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis functions, delivering essential financial insights that enhance business performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting, collaborating with various departments to collect, validate, and interpret financial data.
  • Engage cross-departmentally to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational drivers, integrating these elements into thorough financial forecasts and analyses.
  • Create and sustain precise cash flow forecasts, ensuring the organization maintains adequate liquidity for operational and strategic objectives.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to identify differences between actual and projected financial performance, recommending corrective measures as needed.
  • Prepare and present in-depth financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and evaluate the financial implications of potential business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within financial planning and analysis, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor junior FP&A personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial systems and tools meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Monitor industry trends and economic conditions, offering insights and recommendations to senior management regarding potential impacts on the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial objectives and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; MBA or CFA is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Recent experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, or Wholesale is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning software, such as NetSuite and Power BI, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
