The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in steering our sales initiatives and marketing strategies through creative approaches and will report directly to the CEO while primarily operating from our Canton facility.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Profitability: Develop and execute the sales strategy for our beer and spirits across Direct to Consumer channels, Wholesale, and in-house Retail.
- Manage and ensure the quality of wholesale partnerships.
- Design an annual product release calendar to maximize sales and production efficiency.
- Assess, recommend, and implement essential sales processes and workflows.
- Optimize product availability at each location based on storage limitations and sales dynamics.
- Prepare sales readiness for all products with suitable educational and training resources.
- Coordinate product placement in our retail outlets in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee business performance through wholesale partnerships, engaging with distributors to ensure brand standard compliance.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
- Create an integrated communications plan to enhance brand identity, increase product awareness, and expand Trillium's social media reach.
- Foster a community of brand supporters across social platforms through engaging storytelling and lead the production of digital content that reflects our brand values.
- Establish and manage a media and PR strategy to enhance brand exposure and tell our story effectively.
- Collaborate with partners to design revenue-generating events and activations that support brand-building efforts.
- Evaluate and recommend sponsorship opportunities based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality content generation by our creative team in partnership with external collaborators.
- Inspire a passionate team culture that aligns with Trillium's objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead and develop the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to achieve their goals, monitoring performance and creating personalized development plans as necessary.
- Identify training and coaching opportunities to ensure effective and compliant resolutions.
- Provide constructive solutions when challenges arise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6+ years in sales within consumer retail products.
- Experience in alcohol beverage sales is essential; direct-to-consumer experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in product launches.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior influenced by product packaging and pricing strategies.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams to define strategies and outcomes.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic requiring minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
