Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Coordinator II to join our Construction Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing administrative functions, exercising discretion and confidentiality, and ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of project development schedules, including monitoring and tracking progress.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including outside departments, vendors, and industry contacts.
  • Assist the Group Vice President as assigned and provide training and oversight for other Senior Managers/Construction Directors/Senior Directors and Coordinators.
  • Prepare and review documents, including contracts, bids, and invoices, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Interface with Property Administration for reimbursable construction allowances and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Verify and process payment applications and invoices from contractors and vendors.
  • Respond to inquiries from potential contractors, architects, and vendors interested in placement on our pre-qualified bidders list.
  • Monitor new store signage and related costs, including status reporting and day-to-day telephone contact with vendors.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction administration, with knowledge of industry standard contract and bid documents.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and facilitate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Superior computer skills, including Word and Excel, with the ability to compose and draft correspondence as needed.
Working Conditions

This role requires full-time in-office presence, including attending in-person team interactions, meetings, and collaboration. The successful candidate will be based in Alpharetta, GA.
