Join Our Team as a Guest Service Agent (Overnight)

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Palladian Hotel Seattle. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and check-out guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage PBX operations, mail, and message services
  • Provide accurate and complete information to guests and other departments
  • Complete daily checklists and ensure all tasks are completed
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs and special requests
  • Follow established key control policy and ensure proper credit policies are followed
  • Submit lost and found articles and complete lost and found reports
  • Familiarize yourself with fire and emergency procedures
  • Open, secure, and balance daily shift bank, including counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions
  • Verify credit limit reports and monitor room availability
  • Review daily selling status of the hotel using yield management system
  • Attend department meetings and communicate with other departments via telephone and/or radio
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role is preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events
  • Flexible schedule, able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple arrivals and departures within a short period of time
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter information accurately
