Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Business Development to develop and execute the business development strategy for our Bakkt Loyalty Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of relationships and contacts within the financial services, redemption, loyalty, and platforms domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy for Bakkt Loyalty Solutions
  • Sourcing, qualifying, developing joint solutions, negotiating, and formalizing commercial relationships with Fortune 500 Enterprises
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives and deals within a matrixed organization
  • Managing several complex partner cycles concurrently
  • Driving organizational support from internal cross-functional teams for all new contractual commitments

Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall work experience
  • Experience working with 2 or more successful companies in the financial services, redemption, loyalty, and platforms domains
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise business development or enterprise sales-related functions
  • Experience consistently meeting and exceeding targets and goals
  • Significant experience in negotiating, influencing, and presenting at executive levels
