We are in search of a highly experienced Vice President of M&A and Corporate Development to spearhead our strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions. This pivotal role will be instrumental in executing transactions that align with our corporate goals and enhance long-term value for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough due diligence on potential acquisition candidates, evaluating financial, operational, and strategic compatibility.
- Create financial models, valuation assessments, and business cases to inform M&A strategies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure the successful execution of transactions.
- Oversee the complete M&A process, including integration, while liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the CEO in identifying strategic partnerships and alliances that bolster the company's growth and competitive edge.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry advancements to pinpoint opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, specifically focused on M&A.
- Demonstrated success in executing M&A transactions, particularly in due diligence and integration processes.
- Strong financial expertise, capable of analyzing complex financial data and deriving actionable insights.
- Proficient in technical financial modeling and analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for deal meetings, conferences, and industry events.
