We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Support Specialist to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Operations Engineering group, you will provide critical support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory in Andover, MA.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process baseline metrics, SPC implementation, defect prevention, and process data analysis.
- Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
- Develop and oversee projects using risk management techniques.
- Interact with senior personnel on technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations and/or suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
- Active DoD security clearance (Confidential).
- Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience supporting circuit card assembly production floor, process and/or quality focus.
- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools.
