THE ROLE:
Our service professionals are vital in assisting clients with everyday account management, claims processing, and underwriting services, ensuring they are well-equipped to protect what is most important to them. As part of a strong network of resources, you will collaborate with some of the industry's finest talent to meet and exceed our clients' needs while providing innovative insurance solutions.
The Client Success Manager works closely with the Producer and Account Executive to oversee a portfolio of small group clients, supporting Account Executives with complex, larger clients. This position entails coordinating and delivering daily services for employee benefits clients, nurturing client relationships, enhancing client retention, building strong carrier partnerships, and understanding client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Account Executive to implement multi-year strategic initiatives.
- Manages client projects, including vendor integrations.
- Generates annual benchmarking reports and recommends strategies based on insights.
- Maintains client relationships, supports retention efforts, fosters strong carrier connections, and comprehends client needs.
- Addresses claims and coverage issues for clients' employees as escalated from HR or support centers.
- Assists with billing and eligibility audits, occasionally conducting these audits independently.
- Provides guidance on compliance matters to clients.
- Prepares open enrollment materials, including summaries and disclosure notices.
- Creates employee benefit documentation using publishing software.
- Develops open enrollment presentations and conducts informative webinars for employees and HR managers.
- Oversees the implementation of new carriers, plans, or vendors, including system setup.
- Updates client-specific information in the management system.
- Supports the RFP process and mentors Account Representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Account Manager or Account Representative in the employee benefits sector required (equivalent education and experience will also be considered).
- Experience with small groups is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret documents with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
