Job Title: Court Executive Officer

Join the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura as a Court Executive Officer and play a vital role in the administration of justice. As a key member of the court's leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the non-judicial operations of the court, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the court's administrative staff
  • Oversee the development and implementation of court policies and procedures
  • Manage the court's budget and financial resources
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, regulations, and laws
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including county officials, prosecutors, and the public
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a court environment
  • Master's degree preferred in public, business, or criminal justice administration or a closely related field
