Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer

This is a senior executive-level position that plays a critical role in the leadership of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and administering areas of Patient Care Services to achieve the hospital's objectives established by the Governing Body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing standards of nursing practice and reviewing and revising as necessary.
  • Performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety.
  • Planning and coordinating with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer, Governing Body, Medical Staff, and Department Heads.
  • Developing and implementing standards of care relevant to patient services and personnel.
  • Supervising all personnel who deliver direct patient services.
  • Coordinating all patient services.
  • Retaining quality personnel through hiring, training, and evaluation of programs.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum Education: MSN required.
  2. Minimum Work Experience: Three years of experience as a healthcare/behavioral executive, i.e., DON or CNO at a Behavioral Health Facility or as a Director of a large acute care facility with a large multi-unit psych department.
  3. License Required: Current California RN License.
  4. Experience: Relevant: 5 years (Preferred).
