Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills and competencies on the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Periodically check patients, take vital signs, and observe the condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
- Provide personal care for patients, including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
- Perform bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy.
- Insert IVs and measure and record intake and output.
- Insert and remove Foley catheters.

- American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
