About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least six months of recent hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience.
  • Completion of CNA, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school.
  • CNA certification preferred.
  • Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
  • Able to speak and write English fluently.
