Are you a visionary leader with a commitment to customer success? We are seeking a Senior Manager of Go-to-Market Specialists to spearhead initiatives within the Core Services sector, focusing on Enterprise and Digital Native Business.
About the Role: In this pivotal position, you will be part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), dedicated to enhancing revenue and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small to enterprise-level accounts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Go-to-Market Specialists and provide indirect guidance to Sales and Specialized Solutions Architects, addressing customer challenges within your technology domain.
- Engage with C-level executives and technical teams to cultivate pipeline opportunities, secure key customers, and drive revenue growth.
- Design and implement sales strategies that leverage AWS Field Sales teams and partner channels effectively.
- Collaborate with Service and Technical teams to develop innovative solutions that address customer needs, including reference architectures and automation strategies.
- Work closely with Marketing to align digital campaigns that generate awareness and demand for AWS services.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
- 10+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.
- 7+ years of technical experience in cloud computing and related technologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven success in building relationships with senior executives and closing significant revenue deals.
- Experience in negotiating complex agreements with customers and partners.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
- A technical background in engineering or computer science is advantageous.
