Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is a leading provider of financial services technology solutions. We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Strategy Lead to join our global Product Marketing team. This role will focus on our B2B Asset Management segment, targeting buyers in retail investment management, institutional investment management, and brokerage-dealer firms across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Research and understand market, product, and competitive dynamics and socialize findings and recommendations with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing
  • Content Development: Support content development initiatives including guidance on our content strategy and writing of assets such as blog, video, web demo, web content and social posts.
  • Buyer Journeys: Understand and document our buyer and customer journeys for each of our target segments: the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make and their value drivers. Then take action to improve marketing, sales, product, services, and customer success.
  • Product Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas. Use this messaging to help us drive our global and regional marketing programs.
  • Competitive Landscape: Understand the competitive landscape globally—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. Communicate relevant information to our sales team.
  • Marketing Plan: Develop a marketing plan for SS&C's products in conjunction with product marketing leadership and our broader marketing team, including key activities to support the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
  • Five to seven years working in Asset Management ecosystems and at least 3 years' experience in product marketing
  • 2+ years in FinTech/B2B SaaS experience
  • Must have B2B Experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Must have experience crafting and evangelizing product messages, developing creative product marketing content and comfortable presenting to customers and sales teams alike
  • Ability to master complexity and convey complex concepts in simple (but not simplistic) terms
  • Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them
  • Self-starter personality and comfort with ambiguity
