Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hospice Sales Consultant to join our team, responsible for promoting public and professional awareness of our services while driving territory growth and increasing census. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of sales results, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote awareness of hospice philosophy in the territory
  • Conduct in-services on hospice services for physicians, civic groups, churches, nursing homes, and other relevant organizations
  • Utilize technology to manage daily tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth
  • Maintain high call average per week and demonstrate strong follow-up skills
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners for contract negotiation
  • Attain and exceed sales goals consistently
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and family information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical sales, home health, SNF, or hospice-related field
  • Proven track record of sales results and high character
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook and CRM programs
