Job Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business in their assigned market through conventional sales strategies. This includes selling integrated petroleum fuel systems to convenience store retailers and fuel marketers.

This is a full-time exempt position that offers significant earning potential for the right person. The ideal candidate will have a strong consultative selling background and experience with point of sale, payment systems, and/or capital equipment sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a high level of expertise regarding product lines and industry regulations.
  • Display or demonstrate products and services to increase customer awareness of Guardian Fueling Technologies' products and services.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment that requires positive and professional communication with fellow employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Provide superior customer service and investigate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Manage assigned territory, develop and maintain relationships, and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Consultative selling skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • 1-2+ years sales experience in a consultative, full-cycle environment.
  • Sales strategy and presentation skills.
  • Basic mechanical and IT aptitude required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little direction on a daily basis.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a safe driving record with a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position require driving, sitting, typing, talking on the phone, using a smart mobile device, and walking/moving around a job site.
