District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and initiatives. You will lead a team of sales representatives, define expectations, monitor progress, and counsel if expectations are not met.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and initiatives
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to foster success
- Collaborate with key accounts to improve product distribution and sales
- Align with supplier representatives to understand brand sales goals and support market share growth
- Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate deals
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Bachelor's degree plus five years of experience
- Three years of demonstrated management experience
- Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits
- Must be at least 21 years of age
The physical demands of this role include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer or mobile device, walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. The position also requires driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours and may involve lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs.
This position is deemed a safety-sensitive position and requires a drug test.
