Job Title: HR Coordinator

Quest Events is a leading provider of event rentals and solutions in North America. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Frisco, TX.

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks, including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HRIS systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onboarding of new hires, including background checks, I-9 authorization, and drug testing.
  • Maintain HRIS administration, including payroll changes, employee action forms, benefits reconciliation, and garnishments.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including payroll taxes and unemployment.
  • Provide support with benefits administration, including onboarding, ongoing support, and COBRA management.
  • Manage worker's compensation and unemployment insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Act as the 401(k) administrator, overseeing file feeds, reporting, and IRS compliance communications.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a multi-state, multi-location HR Coordinator or Administrator role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; advanced knowledge of Paylocity preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented team player with a methodical approach to organizing procedures and communications.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Capacity to navigate all departments within the organization's multiple facilities.
