Job Summary

The Exhibits Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and successful experience for exhibitors at ASHA's in-person events. This position oversees various aspects of the exhibitor experience, including editing and reviewing exhibitor profiles, managing exhibitor invoicing and collections, and coordinating the distribution of comprehensive pre- and post-event exhibitor lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibitor Experience Management: Oversee the editing and review of exhibitor profiles, exhibitor/exhibit hall information, and related resources across multiple platforms.
  • Exhibitor Invoicing and Collections: Manage exhibitor invoicing and collections, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Event Logistics: Coordinate the distribution of comprehensive pre- and post-event exhibitor lists, ensuring that all participants have the necessary information to prepare for the event.
  • Exhibition Floor Management: Oversee the efficient management and deployment of event signage, ensuring that all necessary materials are collected, submitted, reviewed, and verified on-site.
  • Staff Support: Contribute to the creation of the staff lounge form and assist in the planning and organization of ASHA lounge areas.
  • Customer Service: Manage the Exhibitor Proxy Box, ensuring timely responses and delivering exceptional customer service to exhibitors.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 3-5 years' experience in association exhibit sales and operations, with a BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated project and process management abilities, including setting and meeting deadlines and effectively multitasking to prioritize and oversee multiple actions or events simultaneously. Proficiency in exhibition floorplan software platforms, such as Map Your Show, and ability to create and edit exhibit hall spaces, terms and conditions, service kits, run reports, gather revenue data, and more.
  • Nontechnical Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, suited to a variety of audiences and formats. Positive work ethic and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with colleagues, members, and the public.
